There isn't much that has not been done with this desk. Paint, stencils, glaze, fabric, crystals, etc. all come together for a unique, one-of-a-kind treasure.
This little beauty has been adorned with a French-themed fabric applied with Mod Podge. It was sealed with General Finishes High Performance Topcoat in Satin then glazed with General Finishes Glaze Effects in Van Dyke Brown. The body was painted in a custom chalk paint made with Behr paint in the color Tsunami and trimmed with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Paris Grey. All of the details began to come to life after applying the Van Dyke Brown Glaze Effects. Such rich detail! Stencils were added to the sides and inside the drawers to add some interest. Swarkovski crystals were applied for some bling. All of the drawers have been painted, stenciled and sealed with General Finishes Topcoat in Satin. New hardware brings even more interest to the piece. No matter which way you turn this desk, there is beauty to behold at each turn.
